The college of Veterinary & Animal Sciences is under the administrative control of the Dean, who in turn, is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor of the University. Dean of the college implements the teaching and coordinates the research and extension programmes. He also monitors the smooth functioning of various departments. According to the need, Dean distributes the allotted funds to various departments and units. Directors of Experiment station and Extension control the university research and extension programmes through Joint Director Veterinary and Animal Sciences Research and Joint Director Veterinary and Animal Sciences Extension, respectively who are the staffs of the faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. However, at university level, the Comptroller controls the budget. The departments are headed by the Head of the Departments who is responsible for implementation of teaching, research and extension programmes at the department level.
